Closter office building sold to realty firm in owner/user opportunity

An office building in Closter has been sold, according to real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson.

The property at 308 Harrington Ave. is 4,535 square feet in size and represents an owner/user investment opportunity for the buyer, NAI Hanson said. Joseph Retcho Jr. sold the property to James Susan Realty LLC, the firm said.

NAI Hanson’s Randy Horning and Darren Lizzack represented the seller, while Weichert Commercial Brokerage’s Cynthia La Terra represented the buyer.

“Although the broader office market is still slowly rebounding from the impacts of COVID-19, well-located properties like 308 Harrington Ave. remain in high demand,” Horning said in a prepared statement. “We were pleased to leverage our local market insights and expertise in the sector to help our client secure a buyer that recognized the value of this rare investment opportunity.”
