Industrial building sold for $3.9M; to be new home of construction firm

An industrial property in Whitehouse Station has been sold for $3.9 million, according to real estate firm Kislak Commercial Real Estate Services Inc.

The 44,300-square-foot building at 27 Ridge Road was sold by Palumbo Realty LLC to 27 Ridge Road LLC, the firm said. Kislak’s Peter Wisniewski, executive vice president, marketed the property on an exclusive basis for Gary Palumbo, head of Palumbo Realty. Wisniewski also procured the buyer, led by Brandon Nicholson.

“The property was in contract only three days after Kislak listed it, and the speed at which it sold is consistent with the continuing surge in demand for available industrial properties in New Jersey,” Wisniewski said in a prepared statement. “Demand drivers include the historic rise in e-commerce sales triggered by the pandemic, and the insatiable need for additional warehouse space.”

The property will be the new headquarters for the Nicholson Corp., a regional commercial construction company.
