Engineered materials company renews lease in Hillsborough

II-VI Inc. has renewed its lease in Hillsborough, according to real estate firm Larken Associates.

Branchburg-based Larken said in a news release that the Pennsylvania-based engineered materials and components company signed a renewal for 22,500 square feet at Hillsborough Business Center on Stryker Lane.

The company has been a tenant of Larken’s for nearly 20 years, starting with Integrated Photonics, which was established in 2000 and acquired by II-VI in 2017. II-VI uses the space for manufacturing, research & development, and more.

“We pride ourselves on our many long-term tenant relationships, which are indicative of not only our commitment to superior management, but our focus on ensuring our commercial properties are consistently among the finest in their local markets and can support our tenants’ changing needs,” Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, Larken’s in-house brokerage division, said in a prepared statement. “Our relationship with II-VI demonstrates our ability to evolve with our tenants and provide spaces that support their needs throughout all business lifecycles.”

Newmark’s Dan Reider, a director in the Rutherford office, represented the tenant along with Garrison Efird and Adam Faulk of the Dallas office.

Hillsborough Business Center is a 550,000-square-foot, 27-building industrial/flex complex.
