Planned Cos. growing its presence in Southeast U.S.

Planned Cos., the Parsippany-based real estate services firm, has expanded in the Southeast with a new unit called Planned South.

While Planned Cos. has maintained a major presence in the Atlanta area, it intends to increase its offerings in other Southern states, including Florida and the Carolinas, it said in a news release.

“With this expansion, our footprint runs from Boston in the North down to Florida in the South,” Dino Iuliano, chief revenue officer, said in a prepared statement. “When we first expanded beyond the New York and New Jersey region, our national clients also asked us to move deeper into the Southeastern United States. For existing and future clients, our mission is to continue to provide the highest-quality service that maximizes client investment and exceeds their expectations.”

Juan Jose Chaves, Planned Cos.’ vice president of sales & operations for the South Region, will oversee the growth. His division currently has 65 associates serving 40 buildings in the region, with hopes for growth in employment along with the client base.

The company provides janitorial, concierge, security and other services to corporate, commercial and residential properties in the Northeast, mid-Atlantic, South and San Francisco areas. It serves more than 1,000 properties with more than 4,300 employees.
