Bed Bath & Beyond continues to focus on digital growth with pair of new execs

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has named a pair of executives to its digital leadership team as it aims to accelerate the growth of its $3 billion digital shopping business.

The Union-based home goods retailer said in a news release that Jill Pavlovich will be senior vice president, digital commerce, and Jake Griffith will be vice president, product management. They will join the company effective Sunday, reporting to Rafeh Masood, executive vice president and chief digital officer.

“Our omni-always strategy is delivering rapid growth in our $3 billion digital business, so we’re delighted to strengthen our team with the appointment of Jill and Jake, who will bring industry-leading omnichannel retail experience,” Masood said in a prepared statement.

In her new role, Pavlovich will be responsible for ongoing improvements to the digital shopping experience, including leading digital merchandising and operations. She has more than 15 years of omnichannel merchandising experience, most recently as general manager and head of exclusive brands and merchandising at Wayfair.

Meanwhile, Griffith will be responsible for developing new digital capabilities for the company, including creating a seamless experience for digital customers, from discovery to post-purchase. He also has more than 15 years of retail experience, most recently as general manager for sports & fitness for Walmart.
