World Insurance Associates LLC, the Tinton Falls-based insurance brokerage, has acquired two South Carolina-based insurance agencies, it announced this week.
The firm acquired both Lawrence & Brownlee Agency and John Roberts Insurance Agency, both of Anderson, it said in a news release.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“We are pleased that LB Insurance and JRIA are merging and joining the WIA family,” Rich Eknoian, co-founder and CEO of WIA, said in a prepared statement. “Both companies are well-respected and have a history of community involvement. We look forward to their continued growth as part of WIA.”
Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla provided legal counsel to WIA, while Jones Law Firm provided legal counsel to LB Insurance and ML Lawyers provided legal counsel to JRIA.
