A Jackson-based pavement maintenance company has purchased an asphalt business, representing its seventh acquisition, it announced this week.
C&L Services acquired Farmingdale-based Knipfing Asphalt Solutions, boosting its market share, it said in a news release. The acquisition is expected to lead to greater efficiencies and a larger customer base.
“This is the seventh company we have acquired and, as we continue to grow, this latest acquisition will help us concentrate on adding state-of-the-art infrared technology and expanding our pavement maintenance services throughout New Jersey,” C&L’s Gabe Vitale Jr. said in a prepared statement. “Knipfing clients will continue to receive the same high-quality infrared asphalt repair and pavement maintenance services that they are accustomed to.”
C&L said it plans to keep the Knipfing brand intact for now, eventually integrating its equipment over to C&L as new equipment comes on line.
