Securitas Security Services North America, the Parsippany-based provider of protective services, announced this week that it hopes to hire more than 15,000 people throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico in the spring of 2021.
The company said about 500 of the hires would be in New Jersey.
“New Jersey is a significant area of hiring focus for Securitas USA,” it told ROI-NJ in a statement. “Across the state, we’re seeking to hire about 500 individuals of all experience levels.”
Securitas cited strong demand as the reason for the planned hiring spree.
“We continue to see demand across all of our markets, including technology, health care, financial and hospitality facilities,” Greg Anderson, CEO and president of Securitas North American guarding, said in a prepared statement.
Requirements vary by region, but the company has full- and part-time, as well as temporary, positions available throughout North America. Apply online here — but note, positions require background and drug screenings.
The hiring process is fully virtual, the company noted.
“We have the industry’s most digitized hiring and onboarding process,” Rod Musser, executive vice president of human resources, said in a statement.
