Chinese logistics firm signs lease for 347K sq. ft. in Edison

A Chinese logistics and fulfillment company has signed an industrial lease for nearly 350,000 square feet in Edison, according to real estate firm CBRE.

JW Fulfillment Inc. signed for 346,858 square feet at the newly constructed 300 Cedar Lane, a property formerly known as 11 C Court South, the real estate firm said in a news release.

The CBRE team of Bill Waxman, Mindy Lissner and Chris Griffith, with Jimo Liu of Realmart Realty, represented the tenant in its search and negotiated the lease transaction. Charles Fern of Cushman & Wakefield represented the building owner, 2020 Acquisitions.

“Imports continue to pour into the United States as beneficial cargo owners tried to build inventory and keep up with demand,” Waxman said in a prepared statement. “Chinese-owned logistics companies are reacting to this phenomenon as retailers and online sellers continue to show strong demand.”

JW Fulfillment has more than two decades of experience in the international logistics industry, focusing on cross-border logistics and other fulfillment services, CBRE said.
