A framing solutions company has purchased an industrial facility in Somerset from an apparel wholesaler, according to real estate firm CBRE.
The firm said in a news release that CustomPictureFrames.com acquired the 45,300-square-foot building at 6 Shirley Ave. from Emby Hosiery Corp. Financial terms were not disclosed.
CustomPictureFrames.com will relocate and expand from its current location in South River.
The team of Bill Waxman and Christopher Griffith represented the buyer in site selection and negotiations. Bussel Realty Corp. represented the seller.
“Our client was attracted to the facility due to its excellent location as well as the ability to potentially add a retail component,” Griffith said in a prepared statement. “The company is making a major commitment to the New Jersey market and will be able to take advantage of Somerset’s positive business climate and the ability to attract more employees as it grows its operations.”
