Seven retailers debut at redeveloped Ledgewood shopping center

Seven retailers have opened their doors at Advance Realty Investors’ revamped Shops at Ledgewood Commons, the real estate firm announced this week.

The 450,000-square-foot, open-air center stands on the site of the former Ledgewood Mall in Roxbury Township, and includes existing retailers Walmart, Marshalls, Ashley Furniture and others.

They have been joined by:

  • Burlington Stores, 27,336 square feet;
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill, 2,381 square feet;
  • Five Below, 8,480 square feet;
  • Five Guys, 2,238 square feet;
  • Panda Express, 2,200 square feet;
  • Starbucks Coffee Co., 2,239 square feet;
  • Ulta Beauty Inc., 10,739 square feet;

Walmart and Marshalls have revamped their spaces, and Ashley Furniture plans a new space, as well.

“The Shops at Ledgewood Commons is a true testament to the incredible resilience and magnetism of the property and its location in one of the most desirable retail markets in the tri-state region,” Peter Cocoziello, founder and CEO of Advance, said in a prepared statement. “When we first embarked on the redevelopment, we knew it would face certain challenges and then, after considerable progress, COVID-19 presented a completely new and unknown challenge.

“Today, we celebrate several retailers opening and are proud of the collective resilience and execution to enable the success story that is the reimagination of Ledgewood Commons.”

Various spaces remain available for lease at the center. Mike Testa, Bill Farkas and Shane Wierks of Jeffery Realty are exclusive leasing agents.
