Bobby Flay Steak, the celebrity steakhouse located inside of the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, will close June 30.
The Borgata and Bold Food, Flay’s hospitality group, said it was a mutual decision — one undoubtedly reached because of the pandemic’s devastating impact on both the gaming and the restaurant industries.
“Borgata and Flay’s hospitality group, Bold Food, made the mutual decision to close the restaurant as part of the companies’ evolving business strategies,” according to a news release announcing the decision.
MGM Resorts and the Borgata said a new “contemporary” restaurant will open in the same spot July 1.
Bobby Flay Steak opened in 2006.
