A Canadian cybersecurity company has opened an office in New Jersey and hired three account executives to staff it, it announced Monday.
Qohash Inc. provides data risk management solutions for financial institutions through its cloud-based Qostodian Prime platform and on-site data discovery tool, Qostodian Recon. The new unit, Qohash Solutions Inc., aims to accelerate access to the software nationally and in the finance-heavy New York region.
“U.S. financial institutions and businesses in general are waking up to the huge data security challenge that comes with work-from-home,” Jean Le Bouthillier, Qohash’s CEO, said in a prepared statement. “They’re searching for better solutions to track and monitor their sensitive data when employees are outside the office.”
The New Jersey office will be virtual to start, with senior account executives Jesus Cabrera, Adrian Douglas and Ameer Shihadeh working remotely around the state, centered on the Wall Street region in New York City.
“With these hires and our new U.S. presence, we’re making it easier for U.S. financial institutions to understand that comprehensive data discovery and protection is more affordable and technically feasible than they think.”
