Sax has created Sax Capital Advisors, which will add the investment banking element to its offerings and expand the existing Transaction Advisory Practice, the firm said in a news release. Sax Capital Advisors will assist clients with selling or acquiring a business, preparing for a sale, raising capital, restructuring and more.

Sax also said it has hired Jerome Fusco as managing director of the Investment Banking Practice. He brings over 15 years of experience to the role, and will oversee investment banking initiatives with a concentration on M&A and related services for middle-market businesses. He had been a managing director with EBB Group.

“At Sax, our primary goal is to consistently add value for our clients and to strengthen our foothold in the areas that mean the most to their lives and businesses,” Joseph A. Damiano, Sax’s managing partner, said in a prepared statement. “Through the launch of Sax Capital Advisors and the addition of Jerome Fusco, we will leverage our vast experience in investment management, corporate banking and debt finance to effectively advise our clients on strategically managing capital and transactions in fast-changing markets.”
