Glen Gardner industrial property sold for $1.21M (and charity gets $2,500)

A Hunterdon County industrial property has been sold for $1.21 million, according to Charity Realty International.

The Fairfield-based real estate firm said in a news release that the property at 2157 U.S. Highway 31 in Glen Gardner was sold by Terminus Occidentalis to private investor Nicholas DelGuidice. The property is leased to a longtime tenant, Russell Reid Waste Hauling & Disposal Services.

Charity Realty represented the buyer, while David Chippendale of Weichert Commercial Brokerage represented the seller.

“Our client recognized the value in a well-situated industrial site that can accommodate service vehicle parking,” Charity Realty President James Costanzo said in a prepared statement. “That use, combined with the site history and financial strength of the tenant, encouraged a quick response and a no-nonsense offer.”

Through Charity Realty’s charity pledge, a grant for $2,500 was made to the Autism Program of West Orange Board of Education in conjunction with the deal. The grant will be used for classroom upgrades and supplies.
