The Central Jersey franchisee of a CBD product shop has chosen R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC as its exclusive leasing representative, the real estate firm announced Tuesday.
My CBD Organics is headquartered In Georgia, and Freehold-based Synergy Capital Partners LLC is serving as a franchisee — aiming to open five to 10 locations in Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties, Old Bridge-based R.J. Brunelli said.
The first lease transaction handled by Brunelli was for a 1,500-square-foot space at a grocery-anchored plaza in Aberdeen Township. The shop will be located at Colonial Plaza, 1121 Highway 34, and open in the third quarter. Brunelli is exclusive broker for the property, owned by Garden Commercial.
“CBD has become the norm for many to help with chronic pain, anxiety, sleeping issues and other maladies,” President and Principal Danielle Brunelli said in a prepared statement. “People feel better about taking CBD than painkillers and other prescribed medications that can create addiction and other issues.”
My CBD Organics’ first New Jersey location opened in October 2019 in Denville, operated by one of the chain’s co-founders. My CBD Organics has seven locations in three states overall.
Brunelli will continue to work with Synergy on site selection and lease execution, it said. It is seeking stores from 1,300 to 1,800 square feet in highway strips, neighborhood shopping centers and central business districts, the firm said.
