A Waldwick-based medical device manufacturing services company has made an acquisition, it announced this week.
NextPhase Medical Devices LLC, which provides electronic manufacturing services and single-use disposable devices to medical device original equipment manufacturers, said it has acquired Massachusetts-based Proven Process Medical Devices Inc.
The acquisition will expand NextPhase’s expertise in research & development, design and manufacturing, as well as adding a New England EMS Center of Excellence to its locations in New Jersey, New Hampshire and Mexico, the company said.
“The acquisition of Proven Process reinforces NextPhase’s growth strategy, extends our technology platform and strengthens our capabilities to help our customers navigate medical device challenges,” NextPhase CEO Carlo W. Colesanti said in a prepared statement. “Proven Process is known for its state-of-the-art engineering and its ability to act with speed to support customers in commercializing their technologies and products.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
