RCBC starts degree program in applied technical management

Rowan College at Burlington County has launched a new associate degree program in applied technical management, it announced this week, aimed at preparing students for management careers in technology and engineering.

The Mount Laurel-based college said in a news release that the program will lead to an Associate of Applied Science degree that is transferable to a four-year Bachelor of Science in industrial technology management — but noted that students could go straight to the workforce after completing the associate degree.

RCBC said the program, which will include hands-on and experiential learning components, could prepare students for positions such as project manager, safety coordinator, quality control technician and others.
