Imperial Dade, the Jersey City-based supplier of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies, announced its second acquisition of the week, a California-based food packaging business.
The deal for Moresco Distributing Co. follows a deal for a Florida-based distributor of janitorial equipment.
It represents the 36th acquisition by the current leadership team of CEO Robert Tillis and President Jason Tillis, the company noted.
“Like Imperial Dade, Moresco has a deeply rooted family culture and high standard for customer service, making the business a great addition to our family,” Robert Tillis said in a prepared statement.
“We are excited to grow our presence across the West Coast and look forward to partnering with (CEO and President Ron Moresco) and the Moresco team to capitalize on the many growth opportunities that we see ahead for the business,” Jason Tillis added in a statement.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
