Rental community in Glen Ridge is near debut, developer says

A residential rental community in Glen Ridge is expected to open in July, according to the developer, JMF Properties.

The Whippany-based firm said in a news release that Clarus Glen Ridge is near completion, when it will deliver 110 modern residences plus amenities to the borough. The project is located on Baldwin Avenue, near downtown Montclair and New Jersey Transit’s Bay Street train station.

“We are excited to announce that we will soon be introducing a brand-new residential option to this charming, historic Essex County borough with the launch of leasing at Clarus Glen Ridge,” Joe Forgione, JMF Properties’ founder and principal, said in a prepared statement. “Glen Ridge is the perfect location for the newest addition to our Clarus series of luxury rental properties. You can walk to shops, restaurants, parks, cultural attractions and mass transit in downtown Montclair, but when you walk home, you return to a quiet, relaxed suburban neighborhood, completely insulated from the hustle and bustle. A lot of thought went into customizing every single detail of this community, and we are counting the days until we can officially announce its debut.”

The property will offer one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments and amenities including a wellness center, reading lounge and outdoor courtyard.

It represents the second community in JMF Properties’ Clarus line, following Clarus Maplewood.
