Prism Capital Partners has broken ground for its redevelopment of a former industrial facility in Dunellen, it announced this week.
The Dunellen Station project, at 100 S. Washington Ave., will bring a transit-oriented multifamily and retail community to the site of the former Art Color industrial property in spring 2022, the Nutley-based developer said in a news release.
“Dunellen Station will offer a diverse range of housing options in order to meet the needs of multiple segments of the market,” Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president, residential, said in a prepared statement. “Future residents will enjoy all the benefits of downtown living, along with on-site support retail and abundant lifestyle amenities. We are so pleased to be moving forward with this outstanding project.”
The property will include 194 one- and two-bedroom market-rate rental units, along with 58 apartments reserved for low- and moderate-income residents. It will also include 130 for-sale townhouses developed by a national homebuilder, as well as 10,000 square feet of retail space.
