A restaurant property in Maple Shade, along with its liquor license, has been sold for $900,000, with an eatery relocating to the site, Rose Commercial Real Estate said.
The 3,700-square-foot property at 28 S. Church Road had been Roots Café and Forno Pizzeria, owned by Ramualdo Lamberti. Adam Rose, president of Rose Commercial, represented Lamberti in the sale of the building and license to Lin Family Plaza LLC, owner of Megu Sushi. The buyer will transform the building into a restaurant called Oceancrat – the Boiling Seafood, relocating the eatery from a leased location in Mount Laurel.
Both the buyer and seller were previous clients of Rose Commercial.
“Working with past clients is always great, but to have two at the same time and being able to meet both of their unique needs is even better,” Rose said in a prepared statement.
Rose said the buyer was looking for a larger, move-in ready restaurant for Oceancrat’s new home, and found a property with outdoor dining, ample parking and more.
