Poll: Murphy mostly gets ‘B’ on economy, but ‘F’ on taxes

While Gov. Phil Murphy still gets solid marks for his overall handling of the pandemic in the latest Rutgers-Eagleton Poll, with nearly one in three (31%) giving him an “A” grade and 23% giving him a “B” grade, how he’s viewed on individual topics is a bit more telling.

Here’s a closer look at the results from a statewide poll of 1,004 adults contacted by live interviewers on landlines and cell phones from May 21-29:
