A parcel of industrial land in Irvington was sold for just over $2 million, according to real estate firm Lee & Associates New Jersey.
Logistics company Portex Inc. purchased the 1.25 acres at 71-89 Cordier St. for $2.05 million, the firm said in a news release.
Jason Lynch, principal with Lee & Associates, represented the undisclosed sellers in the transaction, while Zev Steinmetz of Gramercy Real Estate Services LLC represented the buyer.
“This transaction was especially meaningful as we were able to successfully help a small family business during a global pandemic,” Lynch said in a prepared statement. “We were excited to represent this location that provides trailer parking, as it has been in significant demand throughout the state, and we anticipate that this demand will continue to grow.”
