Condo project breaks ground in Jersey City

Epire Development broke ground on an 84-unit luxury condominium project in the Powerhouse Art District of Jersey City last week.

The project, 144 First St., will feature luxury apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units and include two retail locations. The condos will be two blocks from a PATH station.

Epire officials say amenities will include a full-service gym, a rooftop with outdoor kitchen and wellness area, indoor lounge, children’s playroom, bike parking and private storage.

Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop welcomed the project to the booming area.

“Jersey City has quickly blossomed into one of the most vibrant and promising cultural destinations for generations to come,” he said.

Nest Seekers International will market the property.
