A physician has expanded his medical practice in Ridgewood, buying 1,219 square feet of office space, according to real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson.
Dr. Daniel J. Char has been a longtime owner at 1124 E. Ridgewood Ave., according to the firm, and wanted to grow his practice at the building — hence, the purchase of the additional space.
The team of Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented the seller, Pondview Medical Center of Ridgewood LLC, in the transaction.
“As we look to emerge from the pandemic, the importance of community-based health care has only increased,” Lizzack said in a prepared statement. “With the growth of these practices, spaces like 1124 E. Ridgewood Ave. not only offer an opportunity to better deliver care into local communities, but also enable physicians to make a long-term investment in an asset class poised for ongoing strength and stability.”
The property at 1124 E. Ridgewood Ave. is 31,600 square feet in total.
