A dumpling restaurant is opening its second location at a North Brunswick shopping center, according to real estate company Levin Management Corp.
Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House signed a long-term lease for 3,400 square feet at North Village Shopping Center, a 124,000-square-foot property where LMC serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent.
The restaurant, which has its original location in Edison, offers handmade dumplings and other Asian food, including noodle soups and dim sum.
Ed Vasconcellos III of the North Plainfield-based firm arranged the lease.
“Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House has experienced tremendous success in Edison, where it has grown a substantial, loyal following,” he said in a prepared statement. “The restaurant is a local, family business and, as North Brunswick residents, the owners are fully dedicated to providing the same outstanding service to the community here.
“North Village Shopping Center appeals to a discerning customer, looking for a high-quality shopping and dining experience, making this the ideal location for the brand’s growth.”
Two retail sites are available at the center, comprising 7,000 and 1,500 square feet, LMC noted.
