Prudential Financial Inc. has completed the previously announced sale of its Prudential of Taiwan unit to Taishin Financial Holding Co. Ltd., it announced Wednesday.
The completion of the sale, which was first announced in August, follows a successful regulatory review, Newark-based Prudential said in a news release.
The deal sees the Taiwanese firm acquiring 100% of the Prudential life insurance business in that country.
