A new apartment building in Maplewood has sold for $7.6 million, according to real estate firm Kislak Co. Inc.
The Alivia, a new 20-unit property at 479 Valley St., was sold by builder 479 Valley Road LLC to Sunblossom Alivia 479 LLC. Both companies are affiliates of undisclosed longtime clients, Kislak said in a news release.
Executive Vice President Joni Sweetwood handled the assignment on an exclusive basis.
“This is superior-quality construction in a desirable, transit-oriented location,” she said in a prepared statement. “The purchaser will do well with this property, and it complements the other nearby properties in their portfolio.”
The four-story building includes garage parking and amenities including a fitness center and lounge, among others. It was completed in 2019, and includes 10, one-bedroom units, nine, two-bedroom units and one, three-bedroom unit. Two of the units are affordable, while the remaining 18 are market-rate.
