The first location of three planned for this year is under construction in Monmouth County, Old Bridge-based R.J. Brunelli said.
In the first transaction, R.J. Brunelli brokered a lease for the 1,700-square-foot store at Seaview Square, 2303 Route 66, Ocean Township. Franchisees Karen and Darrell Doucette of Manalapan are expecting to open the store in October at the 1.1 million-square-foot center. Danielle Brunelli, president and principal, and Peter Miller, sales associate, represented the Doucettes in the deal.
“For children and adults alike, walking into a Crumbl location is an exciting, multisensory experience, as the open kitchen allows you to see the cookies being mixed and baked,” Brunelli said in a prepared statement. “With sales primarily going for birthday and school parties, kids’ sports teams and other group events, the cookies are usually sold in large quantities. Consequently, 80% of customers are ‘soccer moms,’ or other moms in the 18- to 45-year age group.”
Crumbl is a gourmet cookie delivery and takeout company with more than 160 shops in more than 30 states.
