Charter school relocating within Newark under new lease, Lee & Associates says

A charter school has signed a lease to relocate within Newark, according to real estate firm Lee & Associates New Jersey.

University Heights Charter School signed for 35,000 square feet at 570 Broad St., agreeing to a long-term lease with the landlord, the Berger Organization, that will allow it to begin the 2021-22 school year in the new space, Lee & Associates said in a news release.

The team of Jerry Joseph, assistant vice president, and Kyle Janoczkin and Tarang Ramani, associates, guided the charter school in the relocation to the larger space.

“We are fortunate to be able to have helped University Heights Charter School relocate to a state-of-the-art facility in downtown Newark,” Joseph said in a prepared statement. “We hope this space helps the charter grow and continue to create a successful and healthy learning environment for its students.”
