Real estate firm Colliers has been named exclusive sales representative for a multifamily portfolio in Hudson County, it announced this week.
The firm said in a news release that it was chosen by the special servicer appointed to the portfolio to facilitate the sale. The team of Jacklene Chesler, executive managing director, Matthew Brown, managing director, and Patrick Norris, associate director, will handle the assignment.
The buildings are all located in Union City, and total 58 units, including:
- 2817 Palisade Ave.;
- 2911 Bergenline Ave.;
- 714 22nd;
- 512 26th;
- 530 28th; and
- 540 28th
The units include 17 studio apartments, 11 one-bedroom, 23 two-bedroom and six three-bedroom units, and a commercial unit at 2911 Bergenline Ave.
“Hudson County has grown steadily since 2010, and is projected to continue along this trajectory over the next five years,” Chesler said in a prepared statement. “As multifamily demand continues to spread from the urban core of the New York City metro, market demand for multifamily dwellings within the county remains strong.”
The portfolio will be auctioned on the online real estate marketplace Commercial Real Estate Exchange Inc. in August.
