Health companies take 12,000 sq. ft. of space at 2 Broad St. in Bloomfield

Affiliated Healthcare Management and Sierra Health Services have signed a 12,000-square-foot office lease at 2 Broad St. in Bloomfield, CHA Partners announced Wednesday.

The recently renovated property, which also serves as CHA Partners’ corporate headquarters, showcases unique architectural features in a premier location on the bustling corner of Broad Street and Bloomfield Avenue.

CHA Partners acquired 2 Broad St. in 2000 and completed several capital improvements to the property including updates to the lobby, elevators and build-to-suits for various office tenants.

The 64,521-square-foot building is now more than 95% leased to a diverse mix of high-quality commercial and professional office tenants.

Additional space is available at the property, for both retail:

  • 4,550 square feet on the ground level;
  • 3,076 square feet on the first floor;

And office:

  • 7,356 square feet on the second floor;
  • 443 square feet on the third floor;
  • 900 square feet on the fifth floor.

Kobi Leifer, partner at CHA Partners, said the office property offers easy access to the Garden State Parkway and is minutes away from the Bloomfield Train Station.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the township of Bloomfield to create a bustling live, work, play environment set within its downtown district,” he said. “We welcome the new tenants to this space and continue to look ahead to a bright future in downtown Bloomfield.”

Through a series of public-private partnerships that are part of the Bloomfield Center Master Redevelopment, CHA Partners also constructed several projects in the township of Bloomfield that include Bloomfield Station, a 487,000-square-foot, ground-up mixed-use redevelopment project with 224 apartments and 60,000 square feet of retail space, as well as Six Points at Bloomfield Station, a 301,000-square-foot, ground-up mixed-use property with 176 apartments.
