Companies bring HQ, N.J. office to Bridgewater Crossing complex

Two companies have signed office leases at Bridgewater Crossing in Bridgewater, according to real estate firm Avison Young.

The firm said in a news release that LED lighting systems provider Signify North America signed for 28,815 square feet for a new headquarters at 400 Crossing Blvd., while medical technology company ConvaTec Group signed a 17,800-square-foot lease to relocate its New Jersey office to 200 Crossing Blvd.

The office park at 200-400 Crossing Blvd., which totals more than 600,000 square feet, is now at about 97.5% leased, Avison Young said.

Avison Young’s William McCaffrey, principal, and Evan Bernard, associate, represented the landlord in the transactions as exclusive agents for the property. CBRE’s Remy DeVarenne represented ConvaTec, while JLL’s Dan Spero represented Signify in the deals.

“Bridgewater Crossing continues to see steady leasing activity as occupiers plan for a return to the office and evaluate their companies’ spacing needs,” McCaffrey said in a prepared statement. “These new leases are an indication of the strength of the New Jersey office market’s recovery as we enter a post-COVID era.

“We are confident the appetite for Class A suburban office space will continue to drive demand and that Bridgewater Crossing’s sustainable practices, modern design and robust amenities package position the property as a unique offering with the ability to accommodate a diverse range of tenant types.”
