A Secaucus-based real estate developer announced the groundbreaking date for a new residential tower in West New York, half of a two-part luxury rental project.
National Realty Investment Advisors said it will break ground for the Grand, a 14-story tower at 508 51st St., on Monday. The sister tower, the Metro, will be located at 52nd Street, and will break ground at a later date, NRIA noted.
“These will be the tallest buildings in West New York, once completed,” Glenn LaMattina, senior vice president of operations and global development, said in a prepared statement. “And will make a magnificent addition to the city and its skyline.”
Each building, when complete, will include 156 units, and the complex will include a parking garage with 495 spaces. Amenities will include a gym, green roof with walking deck, business center and lounge.
“It has been a cooperative project with the city,” Rich Stabile, senior vice president and project manager, said in a statement. “NRIA is working together with West New York to make this important addition happen.”
Construction is expected to be completed in summer 2023.
