Roseland Residential cuts ribbon on Upton Short Hills

Representatives from Roseland Residential Trust and Millburn Township cut the ribbon Wednesday on the Upton Short Hills — a five-story, 193-unit upscale luxury apartment community that began accepting residents in February.

Had they waited a little longer, they perhaps could have celebrated being 100% leased.

The one- and two- bedroom residences with well-appointed finishes and top features and amenities continues to exceed leasing projections — sitting at 93.8% leased as of July 25, Roseland officials said.

The Upton is located just off the JFK Parkway, Route 24 and Route 124 — and is less than 15 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. It is next to the prestigious Mall at Short Hills and within a short drive of New Jersey Transit’s Summit Station.

Roseland officials said the Upton features quartz countertops and decorative backsplashes with under-cabinet lighting; luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout; stainless-steel appliances with a slide-in gas range; full-sized washer and dryer; ceilings starting at 9 feet; fully tiled showers; and spacious storage. Select residences also feature wine coolers, balconies, powder rooms, libraries and state-of-the-art alarm systems.

Outdoor amenities include three courtyards with views of the Canoe Brook Country Club golf course; a large resident clubroom with a fireplace; a coffee bar; a billiard lounge; a private dining room; a wine cellar with private lockers for residents; a state-of-the-art fitness studio complete with fitness-on-demand, yoga, spin equipment, and PGA Tour package; a golf lounge with widescreen simulator; workspaces with private conference rooms; a children’s playroom; an enclosed dog play area; and an expansive resort-style pool lounge that opens to a deck.
