It was a productive second quarter of the year for NAI Mertz’s president, Scott Mertz, as he closed sale and lease transactions in South Jersey totaling over 5 million square feet and $300 million in volume, the Mount Laurel-based real estate firm announced this week.
The deals included the $26 million sale of 405 Heron Drive, a 254,220-squaree-foot industrial property in Logan Township and the lease of the 768,750-square-foot facility at 3280 Route 206, Bordentown, to Aukey Technology, among other highlights.
“The southern New Jersey industrial market continues to flourish, and finding the ideal properties for my clients continues to be challenging and rewarding at the same time,” Mertz said in a prepared statement. “Demand for industrial properties along the New Jersey Turnpike and major highways is strong, and continues to push vacancy rates down and increase rent prices.
“Now is a great time for owners to secure top-notch tenants, and for investors to add great value to their portfolios.”
