Real estate firm CBRE appointed Rija Beares as advisory services market leader for the region that includes South Jersey.
Beares will oversee the firm’s growth strategy in greater Philadelphia, including the areas of southern New Jersey, Delaware, the Lehigh Valley and Central Pennsylvania, CBRE said in a news release.
“After a thorough review process, Rija emerged as the clear choice to take the Philadelphia business into the future,” said Michael Caffey, president of CBRE’s North Region.
Beares has been with CBRE for nearly two decades and began focusing exclusively on representing corporate occupiers of real estate in 2010, the firm said. She also led CBRE’s technology & media practice in greater Philadelphia.
“Not only is she highly regarded as a leasing professional by her peers and clients, she is also well respected for her leadership qualities, work ethic and her ability to manage complex situations with aplomb,” Caffey said.
