Hoy Health makes first major transaction, acquiring mobile health care provider

Hoy Health, a health technology company based in Morristown, has acquired mobile health care provider HomeFront Health, based in San Antonio, the company said in a news release.

The acquisition is the first major corporate initiative for Hoy Health, which was founded in 2017, and is meant to bolster the company’s remote patient monitoring service, HoyRPM.

“The acquisition of HomeFront Health is not only a major step forward for both companies, but also a critically important step for our HoyRPM clients and patients,” CEO Mario Anglada said. “We are in the business of patient care, and being able to combine Hoy Health’s strength in technology with HomeFront Health’s focus on human interaction, we will deliver an enhanced model of care that is widely acceptable to aging, multilingual and underserved populations.”

Hoy Health offers a suite of virtual health care products for medically underserved populations, including HoyMEDS, HoySAVE, HoyRX and a bilingual telemedicine platform it launched in 2018, HoyDOC.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
