The state of New Jersey now has 5,598,738 people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 — pushing it past the 80% threshold for vaccination of all eligible people who live, work or study here, Gov. Phil Murphy said Wednesday.
What’s more, approximately 673,000 more people have gotten their first dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
“That’s another huge milestone on our path forward,” Murphy said.
