Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia has signed a long-term lease for a store in Hamilton Township, according to real estate services firm Vantage Commercial.
The Cherry Hill-based firm said in a news release that Goodwill Industries has leased the 20,400-square-foot store in Hamilton Plaza on Route 33.
Leor Hemo, Vantage’s CEO and president, worked closely with Goodwill Industries Chief Operating Officer Michael Shaw as the exclusive leasing representative for the organization. He also worked with Sidney Singer and Ed Vasconcellos III of North Plainfield-based Levin Management Corp., the exclusive leasing and managing agent for the shopping center, to secure the lease.
“We are confident that Michael Shaw and Goodwill Industries will be very successful in Hamilton Township,” Hemo said in a prepared statement. “They are excited to enter this new market and to continue to grow. We are happy that we were able to locate the right retail space to help them accomplish their goals.”
The nonprofit will occupy the former A.C. Moore space at the 175,500-square-foot center.
“Hamilton Plaza has long been a premier local shopping and dining destination,” Vasconcellos said in a statement. “Tenants are drawn here by the accessible location and strong mix of retailers, restaurants and service providers. For Goodwill, the availability of a ‘retail-ready’ space made the opportunity even more attractive.”
