Exploring New Jersey’s wine country just got easier thanks to a new app from the Garden State Wine Growers Association.
The coalition of New Jersey wineries partnered with Lincoln Park-based IGM Creative Group to develop the app, Passport to New Jersey Wine Country, the association said in a news release.
“Redesigning the app and expanding its features and functionality is only part of what we do for our clients,” IGM President Jay Stack said. “Our team of professionals also performed the initial user support to ensure a smooth transition to the new app.”
Wine enthusiasts can review hundreds of events throughout New Jersey, search for local restaurants and lodging, and instantly make reservations for wine tastings or food, the association said.
App users also can enter to win a vacation to an exotic wine country destination after completing check-ins at all association wineries listed in the app, the group said.
“In addition to listing and promoting our wineries, we are also supporting local restaurants and lodging businesses on our mobile app,” Garden State Wine Growers Association Executive Director Tom Cosentino said.
Restaurant and lodging business owners can become app sponsors to obtain a profile on the app and gain visibility from its 5,000 mobile users, the association said.
