A packaging provider for the waste industry has signed a lease for space in a 78,000-square-foot warehouse in Fairfield, the Stro Cos. said in a statement.
Questar, an Ohio-based provider of packaging solutions, will occupy 37,000 square feet of space in the warehouse and logistics center located at 140 Clinton Road, the real estate firm said.
“140 Clinton’s access to Route 46, Route 80 and proximity to New York City offers an unmatched opportunity for last-mile distribution,” said Jack Shulman, director of acquisitions and capital markets for the Stro Cos.
The Stro Cos. team of Shulman and Elliot Ferris, director of leasing, handled negotiations on behalf of the landlord.
“This transaction is another recent example of Fairfield’s prominence and growing importance in the Northern New Jersey Industrial and Logistics Market,” Shulman said.
Questar was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Torsten Thaler, John Wilkinson, Chuck Fern, Jason Barton, Thomas Tucci and Stephen Shoemaker, Stro Cos. said.
“The property fulfills Questar’s immediate and longer-term needs as they deliver high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions across the full packaging life cycle,” Thaler said. “We are also grateful to have worked with the Stro team. Their outside-the-box thinking made for an all-around positive experience in facilitating this long-term relationship.”
