Valley Hospital Foundation launches $125M fundraising campaign

The Valley Hospital Foundation on Monday announced a $125 million fundraising campaign, the largest in its history.

The “Serve Care Transform” campaign is in support of the Valley Hospital in Paramus, which is scheduled to open at the end of 2023, the foundation said in a news release.

“Philanthropic support from our community has been a mainstay since Valley’s beginning, assisting in building new facilities, creating new programs, upgrading technologies, advancing research and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation,” Chief Development Officer David Bohan said. “Our donors have always been our partners in moving forward, and we are thrilled to see that continue with this campaign.”

Vincent Forlenza, chairman of the Valley Health System board of trustees; Carol Gillespie; and Michael Ietta of Bergen Anesthesia Group will serve as co-chairs of the campaign.

More than $90 million has been raised toward the goal, the foundation said. The campaign is scheduled to run through 2024.
