Bob’s Discount Furniture officials will hold a ribbon-cutting for its 622,230-square-foot, state-of-the-art industrial facility in Piscataway at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The facility, delivered by Duke Realty, is located at 150 Old New Brunswick Road.
The ceremony officially opens the modern addition to its expanded supply chain network and celebrates the creation of hundreds of jobs over the next few years.
Bob’s CEO Bill Barton and other top Bob’s officials will be joined by Art Makris, senior vice president of Duke Realty’s Northeast region, and Piscataway Mayor Brian Wahler at the ceremony.
Founded in 1991, Bob’s Discount Furniture is one of the fastest-growing furniture retailers in the country. With 150 furniture stores across 23 states, the Manchester, Connecticut-based company has become the 10th-largest U.S. furniture chain.
