Harrison Urby’s next phase will include 381 units

Harrison Urby will launch its next phase this fall, with 381 new units, a full-sized indoor basketball court and more, the developer announced this week.

The new phase will be located at 200 Angelo Cifelli Drive, and include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. The phase and its amenities will complement the 679 units across the street at 777 S. 3rd St., Urby noted.

“We’re looking forward to expanding Harrison Urby, which has meaningfully connected with residents since we first opened our doors in 2017,” Urby CEO David Barry said in a prepared statement. “Demand for new modern living options in Harrison, New Jersey’s fastest growing municipality, is on the rise, with more residents seeking apartments near the PATH as they return to the office and units with space to work remote when needed. The new building will meet that demand while continuing to provide lively social spaces to bring together our residents and the neighborhood.”

Amenities include the Study, a new space with dedicated work areas next door to an all-day café, as well as a fitness center with basketball court, a dog run, rentable chef’s kitchen and more.

Urby is designed by Amsterdam-based firm Concrete Architects. It is a joint venture between Barry, a principal with Ironstate Development, and Brookfield Properties.

The developer operates four properties, in Jersey City and Harrison, plus New York City and Stamford, Connecticut. It has plans for future properties in Newark, as well as Dallas and Washington, D.C.
