Events and media company renews lease at Heights Plaza

An events and media company has renewed its lease at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Heights Plaza, the real estate firm announced Tuesday.

Hackensack-based Sanzari said in a news release that Emerald re-signed for 6,442 square feet of office space at the 777 Terrace Ave., Hasbrouck Heights, property.

Stephen Jennings, Sanzari’s vice president of leasing & marketing, represented the company, while Newmark’s Hope Brodsky and Eric Tomchik represented the tenant in the transaction.

“The strong renewal activity seen across our portfolio continues to demonstrate the steady demand for modern and accessible office space in the northern New Jersey marketplace,” Jennings said in a prepared statement. “We are confident that there are few places better-suited for growth-oriented companies than northern New Jersey, and we are proud to be able to accommodate the changing needs of Emerald to ensure Heights Plaza continues to provide support for the organization’s ongoing growth.”

Added Stacy Smith, director of corporate operations at Emerald: “As the G3 Communications division of Emerald continues to grow, we knew their office space would need to be updated upon the expiration of the lease agreement. Working closely with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, we forged an accommodating deal to remodel our office suite to better align with our needs and goals. We are thrilled to be able to upgrade our space while retaining our current location.”

Heights Plaza is a six-story, 200,000-square-foot Class A office building. It has 19,782 square feet available for lease, Sanzari said.
