Sales have begun at Wonder Lofts, the upscale condominiums in Hoboken’s historic Wonder Bread factory, according to developer Prism Capital Partners.
The project at 720 Clinton St., which includes 83 units ranging from two to five bedrooms and 1,200 to 2,700 square feet of living space, was developed by Prism in partnership with Angelo Gordon and Parkwood Development.
Some 40% of the homes were sold during the preview period. They are priced from $1.2 million up to $2.39 million, with initial occupancy slated for late in the year.
“This is one of the most highly anticipated residential sales openings on the New Jersey Gold Coast in recent memory,” Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president – residential for Prism, said in a prepared statement. “Interest has been high from buyers on both sides of the Hudson River, particularly those who originally set their sights on townhomes and brownstones and were excited to find they could receive a comparable amount of living space at Wonder Lofts while also enjoying modern amenities, considerable outdoor space and historic charm.”
The Wonder Bread factory dates to circa 1909 and was in operation into the 1960s. Wonder Lofts includes 14,400 square feet of shared amenities, including a rooftop patio lounge with an infinity-edge swimming pool and views of the Manhattan skyline.
