Law firm signs lease to move HQ to Heights Plaza

An insurance law firm has signed a lease for office space at Heights Plaza in Hasbrouck Heights, according to real estate firm Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, the property owner.

Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano & Aitken LLP is taking 3,108 square feet of space at the 777 Terrace Ave. property. Stephen Jennings, vice president of leasing and marketing at Sanzari, represented the firm in-house, while John C. Giordano of Avison Young represented the tenant.

“In every deal we negotiate, we take great pride in working closely with our tenants to ensure their new space can be a place where their business can prosper,” Jennings said in a prepared statement. “We welcome Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano & Aitken LLP to Heights Plaza, and look forward to building upon our relationship as they enjoy everything Heights Plaza has to offer.”

The law firm, which has served insurance companies throughout the state for more than 25 years, had been headquartered in Ramsey for the past eight years, but sought a space with better accessibility and proximity to the Bergen County Courthouse and greater New York City area, Sanzari said.

“After touring several buildings in the market, we quickly realized that Heights Plaza offered the ideal combination of accessibility and adaptability that we hoped to find in our New Jersey headquarters,” Vince Gerbino, the firm’s managing partner, said in a statement. “However, what impressed us most was Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ diligent work to ensure that our new space aligned with our short- and long-term business needs.”

Heights Plaza is currently 95% leased, Sanzari said.
