Jersey City’s Agnes launches second phase of leasing

The second phase of residences at the Agnes in Jersey City has launched leasing opportunities at the new residential community that opened earlier this year, according to a Monday announcement.

Located at 132 Yale Ave. just west of downtown Jersey City and near the banks of the Hackensack River,  the new collection of 68 well-appointed residences joins the community’s initial phase of 145 homes, which were fully leased less than five months after opening.

The Marketing Directors, which directed the successful lease-up of the community’s first phase, has once again been tapped by development partners Fields Grade and Blumberg & Freilich Equities to serve as the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for the new section.

The newly released residences feature a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom homes. Select floorplans include a den for additional living and entertaining space and the flexibility to utilize as a home office or for visiting guests. Monthly rents start from $1,655, including grand opening incentives that include up to two months free.

“We’re excited to build on the success of the Agnes and open the community up to new residents at a time when interest in Jersey City’s West Side is on the rise,” said Greg Russo, a principal with Fields Grade. “The area mixes longtime restaurants, bars and retail establishments with a new crop of shops and cafés, while also offering convenient access to downtown Jersey City, Manhattan and points west.”

The Agnes and its location both appeal to residents seeking an alternative to the congestion and density of downtown urban centers while still wanting to be close to the lifestyle offerings they provide. Homes offer stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops, in-home washer and dryer, luxury plank flooring, custom closets and Matte Gray cabinetry. Select homes include outdoor space.

An impressive 10,000-plus square feet of shared indoor and outdoor amenities is highlighted by an outdoor pool and landscaped courtyard, while expansive indoor social spaces include a club room, public and private workspaces, a relaxing lounge with a fireplace, state-of-the-art fitness center, community kitchen, children’s playroom, bike storage and a dog run and dog wash.
